As of December 19, 2023, a total of 52 healthcare workers have been abducted by Israeli Occupation Forces, with confirmed names and affiliations. The detained include 21 physicians (18 in Gaza and 3 in the West Bank), 1 dentist, 10 paramedics, 12 nurses, 4 technicians, 2 administrative staff, 1 optometrist, and 1 nursing student (West Bank). Additionally, 12 healthcare workers who were previously abducted have been released, including 3 doctors, 5 nurses, 2 paramedics, 1 dentist, and 1 technician. Testimonials of torture have been received from 10 released healthcare workers.
