As of November 19, 2023, Israeli Occupation Forces have killed 229 healthcare workers in Gaza since October 7. The victims include 40 physicians, 20 dentists, 21 medical and dental students, 4 medical scientists, 73 nurses, 21 paramedics, 7 occupational and physiotherapists, 28 pharmacists, 14 lab technicians, and 1 optometrist. These relentless attacks continue to devastate Gaza’s healthcare system, leaving countless people without critical care.
